This playful two piece A5 duck art Animal Portrait set, titled ‘Pearl Art Print Set’, has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed set of illustrations work together to create one full image, spread across two different art prints. Pearl’s orange webbed feet stand on the bottom of the lower wooden square frame, lifting her white feathered body high up. Her head appears in the second circular frame above, wearing a necklace and crown fit for a queen. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this duck art print has a bright playful colour palette, with light blue and dusty pink backgrounds, and orange, red, and blue details.

The Nonsense Maker’s ‘Pearl Art Print Set’ art prints are hand made in Melbourne using all Australian suppliers. Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line duck art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our art prints are printed on the highest quality paper with fade-resistant pigment ink, giving them the same life span as a painting.

The Nonsense Maker’s Australian art prints are imagined from a fun and whimsical world where dreaming meets reality. While the handmade greeting cards have much less detail, our animal art prints can take up to 60 hours to create.
