The highly detailed drawing portrays pretty teal plate holding an assortment of gingerbread cookies, next to a tall glass of milk. A sign with red children’s handwriting on it says “For Santa”. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this Aussie Christmas card has a simple colour palette, using blues, cream and red.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our artist designed Christmas cards are ethically printed on high quality FSC certified recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.
