Home on a Bicycle - New Home Card

These whimsical ‘Home on a Bicycle’ all occasion or new home cards have been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays a little blue house in a wagon, being towed by a bright red bicycle. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, these new home cards have a bright colour palette, using light and dark blue, red, cream and brown.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our housewarming cards are ethically printed on high quality recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.
