Heart of Flowers - Loving Card

This wonderful ‘Heart of Flowers’ any occasion, love greeting card has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays a large heart filled with flowers in an array of different colours, shapes and sizes. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this love card has a bright colour palette, using mostly pinks, reds, and purples, with touches of yellow, green and blue.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally.
