Flying Fish - Greeting Card

This quirky ‘Flying Fish’ all occasion greeting card has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays a big lipped blue fish being suspended in the air by a bright red and white parachute. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this all occasions greeting card has a bright colour palette, using mainly light blue, red, and white.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our greeting cards are ethically printed on high quality recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.
