This whimsical wall art print titled ‘The Coral Reef Turtle’ from the Hidden Below set has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. Available in A4 and A3 size, the highly detailed drawing portrays a peaceful turtle with beautiful water coloured style blue, green and turquoise spotted head and fins. On his back is a colourful coral reef, filled with multicoloured coral, such as bright orange, yellow, blue, green, pink. Small fish swim amongst the coral and the shell case surrounding the coral reef has a detailed wood grain. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this art print has a vibrant colour palette, using bright colours and highly contrasting colourful elements for a wonderful bold effect.

The Nonsense Maker’s ‘The Coral Reef Turtle’ art print is hand made in Melbourne using all Australian suppliers. Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our art prints are printed on the highest quality paper with fade-resistant pigment ink, giving them the same life span as a painting.
