Amazing - Handmade Greeting Cards

This vintage inspired ‘Amazing’ any occasion greeting card has been handmade and illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays the word AMAZING in old fashioned block font, featuring navy and red diagonal striped. Typewriter font says "This is a card for no particular reason except to say that you are…” across the top. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this handmade greeting card has a dark colour palette, using navy blue, dark red, cream and black.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our greeting cards are ethically printed on high quality recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.
